LIFE IMPRISONMENT AND FINE AMOUNT OF Rs. 3,000/- TO ACCUSED PERSONS FOR MURDER: Cr.No. 334/2017 vide SC.No. 49/2018, U/S 498-A, 302 IPC of PS Shamshabad, Cyberabad.
Occurred on 25.07.2017 at about 2100 hrs at Peddagolkonda Village, Shamshabad and reported on 26.07.2017 at about 0800 hrs by the deceased/Complainant Nakka Manjula w/o Late Mahesh 30 years Resident of Peddagolkonda Village, Shamshabad Mandal in which she stated that in the year 2017 her cousins killed her husband (Nakka Mahesh) and a case was registered at Shamshabad PS.
In this regard, her cousins have given an amount of Rs 350000/- as compensation to her. Since then, her in-laws Mallaiah (Accused 01), Shankaramma (Accused 02) and Ramesh (Accused 03) have been harassing and quarrelling with her for the amount of compensation given to her. On 25.07.2017 at 1800 hrs after she returned from her duty, her in-laws abused her using filthy language, fought with her, poured kerosene on her and set her ablaze on fire. Upon hearing her cry, neighbours extinguished the flames and shifted her to hospital in ambulance.
As per the Statement of the victim/ Deceased, the then SHO Sri. S. Krishna Prasad, Inspector of Police of Shamshabad PS has registered a case in Cr.No: 334/2017 vide SC.No.49/2018 U/s 498-A, 307 IPC of PS Shamshabad, Cyberabad and entrusted the investigation to Sri. Md. Ahmed Pasha SI.
Osmania General Hospital has declared her dead on 30.07.2017 at 0640hrs which led the Investigating Officer to add Section 302 IPC and investigation was handed over to the SHO Sri. S. Krishna Prasad, Inspector of Police of Shamshabad PS.
After completion of investigation, the IO filed chargesheet in the Honourable Court. After the trail, Honourable Metropolitan Sessions Judge at VIII ADJ Court at LB Nagar convicted the accused (Accused 02) Smt. Nakka Shankaramma, W/o Mallaiah, Aged 52 years, Golla Caste, R/o Peddagolkonda Village, Shamshabad Mandal, Rangareddy District; (Accused 03) Nakka Ramesh, S/o Mallaiah, Aged 22 years, occupation: farmer, R/o Peddagolkonda Village, Shamshabad Mandal, Rangareddy District; for Life Imprisonment and fined them Rs 3,000/-. Action against (Accused 01) Nakka Mallaiah was abated as he passed-away during the trial period.

STEPHEN RAVEENDRA, IPS Commissioner of Police, Cyberabad have appreciated the IO, Addl PP and CDO and announced that they will be rewarded in monthly reward mela.
