Irha News English (Hyderabad) 07-Dec-2023 : The University of Hyderabad takes great pride in announcing the success of three distinguished alumni in the recent Telangana State assembly elections. Heartfelt congratulations to Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka (MA-History, 1986), Shri D Sridhar Babu (MA-Political Science, 1992), and Shri Laxmi Kantha Rao Thotha (MA-Communication, 1993) on their election as legislators. Shri Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka has been sworn in as the Deputy Chief Minister of the state, while Shri D Sridhar Babu has assumed the role of Finance Minister in the State Cabinet.We extend our best wishes for their exemplary services to the public and trust they will continue to bring honour to their alma mater.
